He holds the degrees - B.A. and LLB. André was admitted as an attorney in 1992 after doing articles at a large firm of attorneys during 1990 and 1991. He practised as an attorney at the firm from 1992 to 1999 (having been appointed as a director during 1995). He commenced his pupillage during July 1999 and has practiced as a member of the Johannesburg Bar since December 1999. He has a commercial litigation practise with emphasis on banking, insurance, insolvency and company law.
