After matriculating from St. John's College, Johannesburg, Anthonie obtained a B.Sc [Medical Biochemistry; Physiology] from the University of the Witwatersrand in 1998, and thereafter an LLB from the Rand Afrikaans University in 2001. Anthonie was admitted to the Bar on 4 July 2002. His practice thus far includes general commercial litigation, unlawful competition, delict, insurance law and intellectual property-related litigation.
