Frans Odendaal was called to the Bar in July 1982 and took silk in 1999. His practice is mostly of a commercial nature, focusing on the fields of contract, insolvency (litigation and enquiries), company law, insurance, aviation, building disputes, property (including town planning), delict in general, administrative law and unlawful competition. He regularly acts as arbitrator and also as commissioner in insolvency enquiries.
